Based on Greenpeace's The Beef Spree in the Amazon report, Jordan developed the first Brazilian socio-environmental monitoring project for ABIEC – the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries.

Niceplanet, based on Apoio Consultoria e Projetos, began to be structured by Jordan Timo Carvalho and Edinei Menegetti in the city of Redenção, Pará state, in addition to developing and launching the first SMBA – Amazon Biome Monitoring System.

This year saw the launch of the SMGeo PRY Platform and the beginning of international operations from Paraguay. In addition, the SMGeo Indireto Platform and conceptual application were launched and the first pilot project for monitoring indirect suppliers was implemented in partnership with four large livestock groups in the state of Pará.

Niceplanet unifies all tools in the ecosystem SMGeo, which allows parameterization to comply with the main monitoring protocols and trade policies, to track production chains, territories, and the origin of agribusiness products worldwide.

The company's headquarters is moved to the city of Palmas, Tocantins. Partnerships with Brazil's largest retail groups begin, and a unique audit tool, SMGeo Double Check, is developed.

SIRFLOR - Forest Restoration System - is developed in partnership with meatpacking plants, ACRIPARÁ, the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, and the State Government of Pará.

Niceplanet launches SMGeo Prospec, an app that allows livestock farmers and other interested parties to conduct socio-environmental analyses. It expands its operations to other South American countries, such as Colombia, Argentina, and Uruguay.

NS Solutions is created, an initiative of Niceplanet in partnership with SBCert, when the PRIMI Protocol – Individual Traceability and Indirect Monitoring Program. The first official individual animal identification and socio-environmental analysis projects on farms were launched with Frigorífico Rio Maria, Durli Couros, Banco Itaú, and COTI.
